The state was ranked number one for foreclosures in the nation in 2007." yea this is why im getting out of ohio.. trying to find a job or TWO just to get by sucks.. when i go through middletown all i see is for sale signs.. but at the same time that is what im looking for.. just wondering who is trying to stay and then WHY? i sold it all, to hell with it... heading to alaska - at least i have a job waiting on me when i get there!

http://www.theonion.com/content/files/images/Statshot-Paying-Mortgage.jpg; i put my house on the market today and they was amazed that i fully own my home! i only owe a little back taxes, not much..but still the average person pays for a house for 20+ years...and you pay it off right before you die...whats the point? you have property taxes,insurance, almost weekly repairs (or monthly) and if some one wants to sue you - you could loose it...you might as well say- you pay HIGH rent. and when your a renter its up to the land lord to have the up keep done..i have been a land lord too- it also sucks..but that depends on the renters..advice: rent to someone thats over 40 years old and has a stable job... thats what worked for me..
